The Springs Preserve

Where do I begin talking about the Springs Preserve! I went to the Grand Opening and I'll never forget that 117 degree day! Nevertheless I bought a family membership that same day because I just knew this was a place I would come back to in different weather. It's an ecological Disneyland! You can't do it all in one day. The trails are beautiful and all the exhibits are fun and educational. The outdoor play area (which is free) is a ton of fun with the huge sand pit, train, rattle snake, and interactive water pipes feature.
Furthering the educational aspect is their cool little library, with subjects pertaining to the exhibits throughout the Preserve.

They offer classes, science and exploration birthday parties, farmers market, performances in the amphitheatre like the thursday night cafe concert series.

Did I mention the Eco-Modern Wolfgang Puck Cafe with great views? Just go already!

PS- the picture above is of their desert trails all lit up for the holidays!
