Avoiding the Heat

The things you can do to avoid heat are mentioned in other topics, but a seperate section to condense it all might help. Myself, I don't have an issue with the heat. My kids nap after lunch from 1pm-4pm (the hottest part of the day) But here goes.

Watch a free movie-Neonopolis, Cannery Theatres, Town Square Rave Theatres, Regal Theatres at Rainbow offer free movies in the summer (Tues & Wens 10am) City Parks, Ritz Carlton, Green Valley District, Summerlin, Lake Las Vegas, have movies and concerts in the park throughout the summer for free!
Walk the mall

Go to the Springs Preserve
Spend a day bouncing at Pump it Up
Go to one of many Storytimes
Play indoors at My Little Garden
Spend the afternoon at the Lied Childrens Discovery Museum
Go to the Natural History Museum (check out the early explorers program)
Spend a day on Mt Charleston (30degrees cooler)
Go to the Shark Reef Aquariam at Mandalay Bay
Enroll at Las Vegas Indoor Soccer for a sports class
Take swim lessons-YMCA, Water Wings, City of Las Vegas, or private lesssons
Enroll in a class or playgroup
Go for a train ride in Boulder City
